Black Forest Labs released FLUX, a suite of open-source image generation models including FLUX.1 [pro], [dev], and [schnell]. Created by former Stability AI researchers, FLUX rivaled or exceeded Midjourney and DALL-E 3 in quality while remaining fully open-source. The release reinvigorated the open-source image generation ecosystem.
